iSERVE

I am among you as One who serves
~ Jesus, luke 22.27

In 1 Corinthians 12 Paul compared the Church to the human body. He wrote there are many and varied members that together make up a single unified body, that these different gifts and abilities are of equal importance if the body is to be fully functional, and that when one member rejoices or suffers the entire body rejoices or suffers with it. Have you ever really stopped to really consider the implications of Paul's comparison? It's pretty amazing and extremely humbling.

We are each a member of the Body of Christ and we are also a fellowship of believers. We are a sovereign collection of individuals -- each unique in experience, skill, talent and gift -- but equal in life and love.
